Geelani’s medico son posted at Srinagar’s premier hospital

SRINAGAR: Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani’s son, who worked at a hospital in Islamabad for over a decade, has been posted at the Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial (JLNM) hospital in Srinagar as a medical officer.
In 1999, Naeem Geelani travelled to Pakistan along with his family; wife and two kids. He returned to Srinagar in 2010.
Naeem, who had done his MBBS in Kashmir, completed his Masters in Surgery at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences during his stay in that country.
Repeated calls to financial commissioner (health & medical education department) Atul Dullo for details about the appointment failed.
