
It will be a mild and cool day across the country, but with a fire warning for parts of the Northern Cape, the South African Weather Service says.

- Extremely high fire danger conditions expected over the Karoo Hoogland Municipality of the Northern Cape.

Mpumalanga will be fine and cool, but warm in the lowveld.
Limpopo will be fine and cool to warm, but partly cloudy in the east.
North West and Free State will be fine and cool.
Northern Cape will be fine and cool, but warm in the north-western parts and windy over the central parts.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly at first, otherwise southerly to south-easterly.
The Western Cape will be cloudy with fog over the Overberg District in the morning, otherwise fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the south in the evening with foggy conditions along the west coast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly in the morning, otherwise light to moderate westerly to south-westerly.
The expected UVB sunburn index is low.
The western half of the Eastern Cape will be cloudy with mist in the south in the morning, otherwise fine and warm.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly.
The eastern half of the Eastern Cape will be cloudy with mist in the south-west in the morning, otherwise fine and cool, but warm in places south of the escarpment.
The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly at first, otherwise light to moderate easterly.
It will be fine and cool, but warm in the north-east in KwaZulu-Natal.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-easterly, but westerly to south-westerly along the south coast. It will become easterly to north-easterly along the south coast in the afternoon.
The expected UVB sunburn index is moderate.
