Tributes have paid to a mother and daughter who were killed in a horrific road accident.
Anwen Mitchelmore, 59, and Nancy Roberts, 84, were both pronounced dead at the scene of the crash which took place on the A487 between Gardolbenmaen and Penmorfa, Gwynedd last Wednesday.
Their red Volkswagen Polo collided with a lorry between Gardolbenmaen and Penmorfa, Gwynedd.
They were both from the Porthmadog area.
The family, through North Wales Police, issued a poem in Welsh, which they asked not to be translated and celebrates the lives of the dead women they described as "two best friends".

The poem reads: " Dwy wên sy'n aros eleni - dwy wên dyner a fu'n gwmni erioed; dwy'n eu direidi'n rhannu winc i'n cario ni."
The wider community in Porthmadog has also rallied around the family.
Pikes Newsagents has started a collection in memory of the women.

A GoFundMe page in memory of Anwen and Nancy has also been set up and has raised almost £2,000 so far.
The organiser's wrote: "We as a community are mourning the loss of a beloved friends Anwen and her Mother Nancy.
"We would like to pull together and support their family through this difficult time."
