
Meghalaya MBOSE SSLC 10th Result 2020: A total of 50,081 students who had appeared in the Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) class 10 secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) examination can check their result now. The result — including the entire booklet are available at the website — mbose.in.
The overall pass percentage this year touched at 50.31 per cent, lowest in five years. Last year, the pass percentage was recorded at 55.72 per cent. Chetna Bose from Tura has topped with 568 marks followed by Sainava Modak from Whilong who got 565 and Aninamdapisha P Byrsat from Shillong who got 561 marks.
There will be no display of results in MBOSE Office, Tura/Shillong and even in the examination centres due to Covid-19 situation, the release mentioned. The result which was usually announced in May was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic.

West Jaintia Hills topped among districts with 69.96 per cent. The worst performing district is South Garo Hills with 26.57 per cent.
Subject wise highest marks
The highest marks in English was 90 secured by Diya Sinha of All Saints’ Diocesan Higher Secondary School,Shillong. In Mathematics 99 was the highest marks, Social Science- 100, Computer Science- 98, Health and Physical education- 100, Electronics- 90, Bengali- 96, Hindi- 97.
Pass percentage hits all time low
The pass percentage of the SSLC exam touched all time low compared to the past five years. The pass percentage in the SSLC exam this year was 50.31 per cent, while in 2019, it was 55.72 per cent.
The pass percentage in 2018 was 56.76 per cent, while 54.04 per cent in 2017, and 54.10 per cent in 2016.

Pass percentage in HSSLC result
In the HSSLC result released earlier, a total of 72.24 per cent students passed the exam. Kaustab Choudhury had topped in science stream with 468 marks, while Komal Sharma was the highest scorer in commerce with 445 marks.
