Major negligence of Faridabad Asian Hospital came to light on Sunday morning. Hospital staff handed over the body of a woman to a family instead of a man. Upon reaching the crematorium, when the relatives started the funeral ceremony, they started a ruckus after seeing the dead body.

On the other hand, after the woman's body disappeared from the hospital, the family members of the woman created a ruckus in the hospital premises. Later, in the presence of the police, their families were handed over their bodies. Only after this did the matter settle down.

Rajkishore, who was a hired man in Tilpat village, was suffering from cancer. He died on Saturday evening. He was originally from Gonda in UP. His family mistakenly handed over the body of Usha, a cancer-stricken woman living in NIT 5, to her family.

When the family of Rajkishore arrived at the cremation ground at Sarai Khwaja to cremate his body, he saw that the hospital had given him the body of a woman in place of Rajkishore.

On this, the family called the hospital and started making a ruckus. Police reached the spot on the news of an uproar in the crematorium. After knowing the whole matter, the SHO immediately spoke to Asian hospital management.

There it was found that his family created a ruckus in the hospital premises on the news of Usha's body being missing from the hospital. After receiving information from the police, the hospital management came to know about the mistake of its employees.

Later, in the presence of the police, the body of Rajkishore was handed over to his family and Usha's body to her family members. Sarai Khwaja police station in-charge Naresh Kumar said that the bodies were changed due to the fault of the hospital staff.

On knowing about this mistake in time, both sides were given the dead body of their family members. Neither party has given a written complaint in the case yet. If someone gives a written complaint, the police will file a case and take action.

Assistant Medical Superintendent of Asian Hospital, Dr. Geetika Virdi said that due to rain in the morning, the relatives of the deceased wanted to cremate the dead body early. The name was written on the body. The mortuary worker made a mistake. Action is being taken against them.
