Chandigarh: 70-year-old’s body found in Sukhna Lake

CHANDIGARH: The body of s a 70-year-old man was fished out from Sukhna Lake on Saturday.
The victim has been identified as Yashveer, a resident of Sector 22. People taking a walk noticed the body floating in the waters and informed the police. Police said the man was under depression and might have committed suicide. But no suicide note was recovered. Police registered a case and initiated inquest proceedings.
The body is kept at Government Multi-specialty Hospital, Sector 16.
