'Six weeks to save our summer' - hope and despair as North Wales seaside comes out of lockdown
In early July a distinctive high-pitched whistle heralded Rhyl’s latest escape from lockdown.
While the town’s miniature railway was only testing its locomotives – the attraction formally opened yesterday – it was another sign of the Rhyl tourism industry's awakening from a three-month slumber.
