He said that if India has got independence, it is due to this national self-respect. Whether it was Chandrashekhar Azad, Sardar Bhagat Singh, or Ashfaq Ullah, everyone had kissed the trap of hanging laughing only because of the spirit of this national self-respect.

The Defense Minister also said that if today we are standing in this area of ​​Ladakh, then on this day, in the Kargil war, brave soldiers who martyred their lives by protecting every inch of the land of India's borders. Have also paid tribute to them by remembering and saluting them. Because Kargil Vijay Divas is also on 26 July.
