Since actor Sushant Singh Rajput's demise on June 14, 2020, Kangana Ranaut has been vocal about gangism and bullying being involved in the matter. The actress has now gone ahead and stated that four people have not been summoned in Sushant's death case. Ranaut also went on to claim that she would return her Padma Shri if she cannot prove her claims, winning praises from netizens.

Kangana's team shared her statements on Twitter, which read, "#KanganaRanaut explains how she has only to lose by talking about powerful lobbies in film industry & how they turn needy outsiders against her." The actress was lauded by the Twitterati. While a user wrote, "It's not at all easy to do this, no one in the industry is bold and brave like you," another added, "Bravo girl, only actor with a Spine #KanganaRanaut."

Kangana's name was associated with many cases filed against a few Bollywood personalities too. The actress was going to be witness in a case filed against Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Aditya Chopra, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Ekta Kapoor and director Dinesh in Bihar's local court. The case was eventually dismissed and advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha promised to challenge the decision.

In her video, Kangana Ranaut had talked about the pressure Sushant was facing from Bollywood and the media. Questinoning whether it was suciide or murder, Kangana had bashed the journalists for writing blind items on Sushant.
