Unfortunate that people of Rajasthan are paying for Congress infighting: BJP's Vasundhara Raje

NEW DELHI: Former Rajasthan chief minister and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje finally broke her silence on the ongoing political crisis in the state and admonished Congress leaders who have been blaming the BJP over its alleged attempts to topple the Ashok Gehlot government.
Raje said that it is unfortunate that the people of Rajasthan are paying for the discord within the Congress when the state is facing several issues.
"It is unfortunate that the people of Rajasthan are paying for the discord within the Congress at a time when Covid-19 has claimed more than 500 lives and positive cases are close to 28,000 ... At a time when locusts are attacking the farmers fields ... At a time when crime against women is at an all-time high ... At a time when there is a problem of electricity across the state ... And I am only naming a few of the problems being faced by our people," Raje said on Twitter.

The senior BJP leader said that there is no point trying to drag the BJP and its leaders' names through the mud, adding that it's the interest of people that must remain paramount.
The Congress has accused some BJP leaders of being involved in "horse-trading" in a bid to topple the Gehlot government in the state.
Recently, BJP ally and Lok Sabha member Hanuman Beniwal accused Raje of trying to protect the Gehlot government in the state.
Raje had maintained silence during the unfolding crisis in the state after rebel Congress leader Sachin Pilot revolted against the government.
