Rajkumar Ahirwar, a member of the poison-eating family in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, said that when the officials reached there, I forbade them to waste their crops, but they did not stop. For this reason, I had no choice but to eat poison. As soon as he said this, the prince started crying with tears.

Ahirwar told me that he (officials) had done the same last year and due to this my debt increased. Once again, I knew that now I would have nothing to feed my six children. He is currently undergoing treatment at Guna District Hospital. In fact, on 14 July, police encroachment teams and revenue officials started destroying Rajkumar's (38) soybean crop, in protest of which Rajkumar and his wife drank pesticides.

Thereafter, the husband and wife were picked up and rushed to the hospital in a police van. During this, Rajkumar's brother Shishupala protested and blocked the way to the police, on which the police showered sticks on Shishupal.

There is a lot of anger among the people about this incident. On Thursday, the Madhya Pradesh government suspended six police personnel. The day before, the District Collector and Superintendent of Police of Guna was transferred. His wife Savitri is lying on a bed equal to Rajkumar, who is lying unconscious. It is raised only when media personnel or leaders arrive. She is hardly able to speak.

What is the matter

The government college management was allotted 20 bighas of land in the Jaganpur Chak area for the construction of a model college in Guna. The land was occupied by a person named Gabbu Pardi for a long time. Some time ago the revenue and police team together removed the encroachment.

However, due to the negligence of the department, the construction could not be done on the land. Because of this, the encroachers started encircling the land again. At the same time, when the Dalit couple was removed from here, they drank pesticides in protest against this campaign. After drinking the pesticide, the couple was admitted by the police to the district hospital where their condition is currently improving.
