* ANI update at 9.01am: 1,34,33,742 samples tested for Covid-19 till 17th July, of these 3,61,024 samples were tested yesterday, says ICMR
* Updatea at 9.40am: Spike of 34,884 Covid-19 cases and 671 deaths reported in India in the last 24 hours. Total positive cases stand at 10,38,716, including 3,58,692 active cases, 6,53,751 cured/discharged/migrated and 26,273 deaths, reports ANI quoting ministry of health and family welfare
*It will soon become mandatory for all private sector entities in the city including banks, IT companies, factories and media houses to test their employees for Covid-19 using antibody test kits to find if they have been infected and cured.
*One in every five Covid-19 cases identified through fever camps in the city is from Anna Nagar zone, official data released by Greater Chennai Corporation shows.
