133 new Covid cases, 2 more deaths in Gurgaon

Gurgaon: The city on Friday reported 133 new Covid-19 cases, taking its tally to 7,483. The health department said 121 people also recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 6,318.
Two more people succumbed to the infection as well. So far, 112 people have died of Covid-19 in the city. Of these, 75 people had comorbidities.
Till now, 80,570 people have been put under surveillance in the district. The health department has sent 74,720 samples for testing, out of which 64,484 returned negative while the results of 1,283 are awaited.
The district currently has 1,053 active cases, out of which 740 are in home isolation.
The district was able to collect 2,294 samples in the last 24 hours for antigen and RT-PCR tests. tnn
