Haryana: Farmers plan state-level protest against agriculture ordinances

BKU members are holding meetings with farmers in Haryana villages.
AMBALA: The Bharatiya Kisan Union's (BKU) Haryana unit and other groups are jointly planning a state-level tractor rally on July 20 to protest three agriculture-related ordinances of the Union government.
Haryana Arhtiyas Association has too offered open support to farmers and announced to protest with the farmers.
The farmers and arhtiyas said the central government is planning to end the grain market system and privatise this sector. They alleged that the government is attempting to help the capitalists and planning to end the farmer-arhtiya relationship.
BKU Haryana workers are visiting the farmers at the village-level to invite them for the rally.
BKU' Haryana unit president Gurnam Singh Charuni said, “We have called a state-wide tractor rally on July 20 in protest against the ordinances issued by the central government.”
