Coronavirus in Tamil Nadu: Minister Sellur Raju discharged from Chennai hospital

CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu cooperation minister Sellur K Raju, who was down with Covid-19, was discharged from MIOT Hospital in Chennai on Friday.
A medical bulletin released by hospital managing director Dr Prithvi Mohandas said the minister had recovered from the viral infection.
Sellur Raju was admitted to hospital on June 10.
Higher education minister K P Anbalagan was discharged from hospital on Wednesday.
On Thursday, labour welfare minister Nilofer Kafeel tested positive for Covid-19. She quarantined herself at her home in Chennai.
Handlooms minister O S Manian also chose home quarantine after his staff tested positive.
