Have you ever come across R Madhavan and asked for his autograph? If you are among those, then you would know that the 50-year-old actor always looks into the eyes while signing an autograph. The actor shared a throwback video, narrating an incident which led to that.
The incident was related to a cricketer. R Madhavan recollected that he wanted an autograph from a cricketer who had come to their society. However, when the sportsperson gave his autograph without even looking at the eight-year-old kid, R Madhavan, it hurt the actor so deeply that he pledged to always look into his fans' eyes when he signs an autograph.
Narrating the incident on a chat show, Madhavan said, "I didn't even know whp he was, but the idea of getting an autograph, like the rest of my friends, was very exciting to me. I remember walking up to him, and he was sitting there having a conversation (I'm sure) he must have signed some 50 autographs by then."
"He signed it and gave it back to without even looking at me. I'm not gonna justify whether he was right or wrong but it hurt me deeply, very deeply. And that day I remember saying: 'If I ever sign an autograph in my life, I will make sure I look at his/her eyes when I sign an autograph," added the actor.
R Madhavan recently made headlines for his reaction to board exam results. The actor shared a motivational tweet which went viral. On the work front, he was going to be seen in 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', 'Nishabdham' and 'Maara', but the movies have been delayed due to the lockdown.
