
JAC 12th Result 2020, Jharkhand Board Class 12th Result 2020 LIVE Updates: After postponing the result declaration time from 1 pm to 5 pm, the Jharkhand Academic Council, JAC has released the results of class 12, science, commerce and arts streams on Friday, July 17.
The wait of over 2.34 lakh (2,34,363) students, their parents, and teachers have ended. All stakeholders can check the intermediate exam esults via websites– jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in. The students can also check this website- exam-result.in to get their results.
JAC 12th Result 2020 | How to check marks online
The exam was conducted from February 11 to 28. A total of 1.29 lakh (1,29,263) students appeared in the arts stream, in commerce as many as 28,515 students and 76,585 students appeared in science stream. The results are usually released in May, however, this year it saw a delay due to a steep rise in the coronavirus cases.

To check results, students need to click on the direct link available on the websites. Enter the registration number/ roll number. The results will appear on the screen. Download it, and take a print out for further reference. In the class 10 result released this month, a total of 75.01 per cent students passed recording the highest pass percentage in the last seven years.
A total of 15,982 students secured first division in Arts, while 71,118 students passed with second division, and 18,124 students got third division. A total of 1.27 lakh (1,27,532) cleared the intermediate Arts exam this year with a pass percentage of 82.53 per cent
In a reverse trend, the science stream has been the least performing stream with a pass percentage of only 59.72 per cent. In this too, female students fare comparatively better with a pass percentage of 61.73% and males at 57.27%. The best performing district in the stream was Haxaribagh at 72.67% and least performer was Pakur with a pass percentage of mere 37.1%
In the commerce stream, as many as 77.37% passed. In this stream too, girls have fared better than boys. For females, the pass percentage is at 84.74% while for males it is at 71.17%. The best performing district in commerce is Lohardaga with a pass percentage of 95.09% and the least performing is Sahebganj at 43.13% pass percentage.
The overall pass percentage in the Arts stream is 82.07 per cent. Female students have delivered a better performance in the stream as 84.20 females and 79.94 males who appeared for the exams, cleared it. Simdega is the top-performing district in the stream with 97.43 per cent pass percentage while Chatra is the worst performer with 53.50 per cent.
Even after postponing the declaration time from 1 pm to 5 pm, the website is again down. Students have been complaining about the same. This may be due to a heavy load on the website. Earlier, JAC used to release result of different streams separately
Students should keep their admit cards ready to check their results. Students will have to fill in their roll number in the result sheet to check detailed marks.
Last year, in JAC class 12 Science stream, 57 per cent of the total students cleared the exam. In the commerce stream, the success rate was 70.44 per cent while for arts the pass percentage was at 81.50 per cent. It would be worth to see if science continues to be the best performing stream.
While declaring the board exam results this year, JAC has been suffering a technical snag, it is likely that the link takes around 30 odd minutes to be activated after the declaration. The officials have already shifted the declaration time from 1 pm to 5 pm. Students should consider these while checking results.

Apart from the official websites, the results will also be hosted by private carriers - examresults.in, indiaresults.com. The procedure to check results is same as the official website. The results will be released in a couple of minutes.
As per latest inputs, the Jharkhand Academic Council, JAC are now expected to be declared by 4.30 pm.
A little over an hour left for the results to be declared by state education minister Jagarnath Mahto. The results was initially scheduled to be declared at 1 pm in the afternoon, but earlier this morning a statement was released by the board that stated there was a delay in the declaration of the results by couple of hours. As per an board official, the results are expected to be released at 5 pm in the evening. Best of luck students!

Earlier this month the Jharkhand Academic Council had declared the class 10 results. A total of 2,88,928 students had cleared the exams and the state recorded 75.01 passing percentage, highest in past seven years. Breaking the trend male candidates from the state outperformed girls, recording 75.88 passing per cent. The passing percentage of female candidates stood at 74.25 per cent.
Any student who is not satisfied with their grades can apply for re-evaluation, and students who fail to clear the exams can appear for compartmental/ improvement exam. The dates for the same are yet ti be announced by the board.
In 2019, 79.97 per cent students cleared JAC 12th Arts exams while 57 per cent students cleared the exam in science stream and 70.44 per cent in commerce stream. In JAC 8th, and 10th results declared earlier this year the pass percentage has seen a rise and a similar trend is expected for 12th result

Chairman, JAC, Arvind Pratap Singh told indianexpress.com, Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto will announce the result of class 12 examination today at 5 pm via a press conference in presence of the board officials.
The Jharkhand class 12 result will be announce at 5 pm instead of the scheduled 1 pm today. "As directed by Minister SeLD JAC will announce the results of intermediate examinations 2020, today at 5 PM instead of 1 PM. Programme has been rescheduled due to some unavoidable circumstances," the council official informed
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will announce the result for the Higher Secondary, Uccha Madhyamik, class 12 exam on Friday, July 17 at 3:30 pm, while Manipur class 12 result will be announced shortly
