Real Madrid won a record-extending 34th La Liga title with one game to spare by beating Villarreal 2-1 at home on Thursday. Madrid's 34th La Liga title spurred happy celebrations from many players but not everyone in the team was in the mood to celebrate.
Madrid forward Gareth Bale was spotted on camera during the team's La Liga title celebrations on Thursday. Bale, who has barely played this season after a reported falling-out with Zinedine Zidane, was mocked by fans after the game for his role in the celebrations.
When Zinedine Zidane was thrown into the air by his Real Madrid players in another title celebration, Bale was standing cross-armed and appearing uninterested. Bale was seen on the outer for much of the celebrations and was pictured leaving the ground early.

Last week also, Bale had infuriated Real fans as he joked about falling asleep with a protective face mask over his eyes while watching the game in Madrid from the stands. He then simulated holding a pair of binoculars in front of his face while he watched Madrid's meeting with Granada on Monday from the stands at Los Carmenes.
Notably, Bale has played just 100 minutes for Madrid in La Liga since the competition returned from its three-month hiatus amid the coronavirus pandemic.
However, Zinedine Zidane had brushed off a question about Gareth Bale's future at Real Madrid, insisting the team is united.
"You try to put things between us, but you won't be able to. Every day you ask the same thing. You can do it; you have the right to ask what you want.
"But we're united. Gareth, James [Rodriguez], everyone."
