AMBALA: The district on Friday 84 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours ending on Friday. The district also reported two Covd-related deaths due to co-morbid conditions during this period, said civil surgeon Dr Kuldeep Singh.
“With the recovery rate of 66.58% and mortality rate of 0.97%, the tally of Covid-19 cases reached 820 in
Ambala district on Friday, out of which, 546 patients got discharged, eight died and 266 are active cases,” he said.
“On Friday, our health teams conducted 450 antigen tests, out of which, 9 people tested positive and 650 RT-PCR samples have been collected from cloth market in Ambala City”, said Dr Kuldeep.
“So far, a total of 25,267 samples have been collected for Covid-19 testing in Ambala district, which is 20,621 samples per 10 lakh population”, said Dr Kuldeep.
