Green light: Son of flower sellers at signals gets 55%

Dashrath Pawar whose parents sell flowers at traffic signals of Thane scored 55% in arts. His parents proudly say now their son is the most qualified person in the family.
Dashrath had first started studying at Signal School of Samarth Bharat Vyaspeeth. Post Class X, he went to Satish Pradhan Dnyansadhna College.
While his mother has never been to school, his father had studied till Class IX. His relatives never encouraged him to pursue studies as they do not believe in education but he was determined. Dashrath started preparing for police recruitment exams after SSC as "I have always admired cops".
