JAC 12th Result 2020, Jharkhand Board Class 12th Result 2020 LIVE Updates: The Jharkhand Academic Council, JAC will release the results of class 12, Science, Commerce and Arts streams on Friday, July 17. Chairman, JAC, Arvind Pratap Singh told indianexpress.com, “Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto will announce the result of class 12 examination today at 1 pm via press conference in presence of the board officials. Unlike other years, the results of all the streams will be announced one the same day.”
Over 2.34 lakh (2,34,363) students who had appeared in the intermediate exam will get their results via websites- jacresults.com, jac.jharkhand.gov.in. The students can also check this website- exam-result.in to get result.
The exam was conducted from February 11 to 28. A total of 1.29 lakh (1,29,263) students appeared in the Arts stream, Commerce- 28,515, Science- 76,585. The results are usually released in May, however, this year it saw a delay due to a steep rise in the coronavirus cases.

To check result, the students need to click on the direct link available on the websites. Enter the registration number/ roll number. Results will be appeared on screen. Download it, and take a print out for further reference. In the class 10 result released this month, a total of 75.01 per cent students passed recording highest pass percentage in the last seven years.

The Jharkhand class 12 result will be announce at 5 pm instead of the scheduled 1 pm today. "As directed by Minister SeLD JAC will announce the results of intermediate examinations 2020, today at 5 PM instead of 1 PM. Programme has been rescheduled due to some unavoidable circumstances," the council official informed
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will announce the result for the Higher Secondary, Uccha Madhyamik, class 12 exam on Friday, July 17 at 3:30 pm, while Manipur class 12 result will be announced shortly

Last year, in JAC class 12 Science stream, 57 per cent of the total students cleared the exam. In the commerce stream, the success rate was 70.44 per cent while for arts the pass percentage was at 81.50 per cent.
Around 5 lakh students cleared the class 8 exam successfully. The pass percentage touched 91.60 per cent this year

The Jharkhand Board has released the results for class 9 and 11 earlier this month. In JAC class 11 result, of the 3,39,061 students as many as 95.53 per cent had cleared the exam. For JAC class 9 result, of over 4.22 lakh students appeared in the examination, as many as 97.42 per cent cleared it
A total of 75.01 per cent cleared the class 10th exam successfully. A total of 2.88 lakh (2,88,928) students cleared the secondary exam successfully out of 3.85 lakh (3,85,144) students appeared
The students can check the results through the websites- jac.nic.in, jharresults.nic.in and jac.jharkhand.gov.in at 2 pm. However, students can expect a delay of about 30 minutes as per the trend of JAC. Earlier this year when the JAC 10th result was released, the official time of result declaration was 1 pm while the result link was activated by 1:30 pm

The Jharkhand Academic Council was established for holding and conducting examinations of Intermediate, Secondary, Madhyama and Madarsa from Vastaniyan to Fazil for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations and for recommending for recognition of Intermediate Educational Institutions, High Schools, Sanskrit Schools and Madrasas to the State Government and for carrying out such other examination as assigned to the council by the State Govt from time to time. Besides the Council also accords opening permission of school Inter College & School and recommends for their recognition to the HRD. It also recommends the madarsa well as Sanskrit School for their recognition to the HRD
The students can check the results through other apps available at the Google Play store. To get the results via app, candidates have to pre-register their roll number. To check result, students have to visit the official website and click on the Jharkhand JAC Intermediate results links.

For the first time, the council broadcasted the evaluation process live through CCTV cameras. The arrangements had been made to keep an eye on protocols of social distancing being followed at various centres
As per the minimum marks criteria, students need to obtain a minimum of 30 percent marks to be declared pass in the class 12 examination. Thus, at least 30 marks out of 100 and an aggregate of 150 marks in total is needed to be declared pass.
