Home Minister Amit Shah has sent a letter demanding CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's demise to the concerned department. Bihar MP Pappu Yadav addressed the letter to Shah, and in turn received a confirmation that the letter which he sent on June 16 has been taken forward to the concerned department.

Pappu Yadav shared the confirmation letter from Amit Shah on July 14, exactly a month after Sushant's demise. The actor was found hanging in his Bandra home on June 14, 2020, and the Mumbai Police has declared the actor died by suicide.

On Wednesday, former Union Cabin Minister Dr. Subramanian Swamy also wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking for CBI investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. He had also penned a letter to Mumbai police commissioner through his advocate. In the letter, he requested that the commissioner should send all electronic evidence for forensic examination.

#CBIForSushant has been a constant trend on Twitter ever since the investigation on Sushant's demise began. Various celebrities like Shekhar Suman and BJP MP Roopa Ganguly have asked for a CBI investigation in the matter since a long time. While Shekhar Suman states that gangism could be involved in the untimely demise, Roopa Ganguly has constantly claimed that Sushant's social media account is tampered with.
