The driver of a silver Honda Accord has been filmed getting pulled over by an unmarked police car in Florida while seemingly trying to race a Tesla Model 3 off the lights.
If you skip the video below forward to the 1:10 mark, you will see a Tesla Model 3 sitting at a red light with a silver Honda Accord next to it. Directly behind the Honda is a Ford Mustang GT.
When the light turns green, the Tesla driver mashes the throttle, launching off the line in the way only an electric vehicle can. However, while the Tesla driver settles into the speed limit, the Accord quickly catches up and passes him.
Moments later, the Mustang GT comes into view and, much to the dismay of the Honda’s driver, has blue and red flashing lights. See, this was an unmarked police car that from the outside looks just like any other Mustang. Before long, the Ford pulls over the Honda.
We can’t say for sure whether or not the driver of the Accord was hit with a fine nor exactly how fast they were driving when they sped past the Tesla. Regardless, the Honda driver was probably left a little red-faced, particularly after the Tesla Model 3 cruised past while he was pulled over.
