Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao finally broke his silence on the South Western Railways’ proposal of doubling the tracks. He said he is against it and the three MPs from Goa should raise their voices in Delhi against the proposal as people do not want it.

Churchill said he has experienced the disturbance of passing trains causes to the residents along the tracks.

People of Cansaulim and other villages through which the tracks pass have vehemently opposed the proposal.
