Rain + bad roads = Goans stuck in potholes

Potholes and bad roads are an issue that just refuses to die down. With the heavy showers driving is quite difficult as it is.

But potholes and bad roads make them death traps for commuters.

After the promises of last year on quality improvement in roads, it does not look as if there has been much improvement, especially on the heavily movemented national highways.

This is the state of the National Highway at Guirim. The speed limit here is about 50km/hr but thanks to the road quality one cannot drive even at 20.
