Daimler Says Demand Recovery Spared Carmaker From Bigger Loss

(Bloomberg) -- Daimler AG said auto markets recovered at the tail end of the second quarter and helped rescue the Mercedes-Benz maker from reporting as much of a deficit as analysts were expecting.
