Punjab: 'UAPA being used to frame youth'

BATHINDA: MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira on Thursday visited Mansa and Achanak village to meet families of Gurtej Singh and Amritpal Singh, who have been booked under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) by Delhi and Punjab Police.
After meeting the aggrieved families, Khaira, accompanied by MLAs Jagdev Singh Kamalu and Pirmal Singh Khalsa, accused both the Union government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government led by CM Captain Amarinder Singh of implicating poor and defenceless youth under the draconian law.
