- PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) auditor, Pule Mothibe, will give his testimony before the state capture commission on aviation related matters.
- The inquiry has not heard any aviation related testimony since February.
- On Wednesday the commission heard the postponement request of Mhlathuze Water Board former official Mboniseni Majola.
The state capture inquiry will on Thursday continue with aviation related testimony from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) when auditor, Pule Mothibe takes the stand.
The commission last heard aviation related testimony earlier this year on the embattled national carrier, South African Airways (SAA).
On Wednesday, the commission granted a postponement to Mboniseni Majola, implicated in large scale looting of public funds while he was still employed at the Mhlathuze Water Board.
In February, a witness identified only as Mr X, who testified in-camera, alleged that Majola coordinated the scheme of looting by involving various established engineering firms.
Majola was invited by the commission to provide his version via an affidavit. However, almost five months since allegations were made against him, he has still not submitted one.
Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo granted the postponement application, ordering Majola to submit his affidavit on or before 14 August.
