What Do You Think About This BMW X4 M With Aftermarket Carbon Parts?

Aftermarket parts manufacturer 3D Design has got its hands on the BMW X4 M and launched a series of visual upgrades for the SUV.

3D Design hails from Japan and has made a name for itself with its subtle yet stylish tweaks. There’s none of those wild bodykits that some other companies offer and instead just some nice carbon fiber add-ons that can make vehicles look a touch sportier without ruining the factory design.

With the X4 M, 3D Design has kicked things off with a carbon fiber front splitter that easily affixes to the performance-focused SUV’s front bumper. Complementing this splitter are carbon fiber front grille surrounds.

Elsewhere, 3D Design is offering the X4 M with carbon fiber air vents behind the front wheel arches. The carbon fiber parts continue with extended side skirts, while at the rear there is a trunklid lip spoiler and a bold diffuser, once again made from lightweight carbon fiber.

We don’t yet have pricing information regarding these carbon fiber parts, but they probably won’t be cheap.

As a reminder, the BMW X4 M is available in standard and Competition forms. In the Competition model, the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder is good for 503 hp and 441 lb-ft (598 Nm) of torque, allowing the SUV to sprint to 60 mph (96 km/h) in a mere 4 seconds and through to 177 mph (285 km/h) with the available M Driver’s Package.
