When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned down Brad Pitt's 'Troy' and three Hollywood films with Will Smith

Not just in Bollywood, but overseas, too, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has made an everlasting impact with her on-screen performances. While she did Hollywood films like 'Bride And Prejudice', 'Mistress Of Spices' and 'The Pink Panther 2', among several others, did you know that she could've appeared in Brad Pitt's 2004 film 'Troy' and Will Smith's 'Hitch' and 'Seven Pounds'? She reportedly had to turn those roles down due to varied reasons. Some years back, the 'Troy' actor expressed regret that he couldn’t get a chance to work with Aishwarya seeing as she is someone 'who achieved huge acclaim in the west for her style, beauty and acting.' Will Smith, too, expressed similar sentiments in an interview later wherein he said that he regretted missing the opportunity as 'she has this powerful energy' about her.
