The A487 is shut in Gwynedd is shut in both directions after a serious crash involving a lorry and car.
Police have closed the road from the Rhoslan turning at Dolbenmaen to the Wern turning at Penmorfa.
It is understood an air ambulance is at the scene.
Motorists are being diverted.
