Inspired by her doctor parents, P Harini aspires to be a doctor

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class X exam result came as per the expectation for P Harini, a student of Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School in Chennai.
Daughter of doctor parents, Harini has topped the CBSE class X exam. With perfect 100 in Math, Science, English and Hindi, she has scored 99.8% marks.
Inspired by her doctor parents, Harini who aims to be a doctor has been working hard to crack the NEET although she has two more years to go. “During the lockdown I utilized my time by taking online classes to prepare for the medical entrance examination. I aimed to be a doctor like my parents and serve the underprivileged people of the country,” says the teenager, who loves reading and is self confirmed book-lover.
Talking about her preparation strategy before the exam, Harini says that a clear concept about the topic makes it interesting and simple. “With the help of teachers and my habit of self-study, I cleared all the subject related doubts to excel in the subjects,” she tells Education Times. She mostly studied NCERT books to prepare for her boards and used to devote 4-5 hours daily for her studies.
Eldest among three of her siblings, Harini never lacked family and teachers support during her board exam preparation. She loves listening to music to take a break from hectic study schedule. She credits her success to her school teachers and parents.
