Representative imageCHANDIGARH: Congress MLAs Chiranjeev Rao from Rewari and Neeraj Sharma from Faridabad on Tuesday flayed the BJP-JJP alliance over the issue of lay offs in industrial townships and deteriorating law and order situation in the state. The two first-time MLAs also took on chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and his deputy Dushyant Chautala over lack of coordination and dissent among their party MLAs.
“Those in alliance who claim to be one must look into the dissent or resentment among their own MLAs before making any remark about the Congress party,” said Rao. Khattar and Dushyant had taken a dig at Congress, referring to bickering within the party. On Monday, Dushyant had termed the developments in Rajasthan Congress as movement of locust.
Sharma, who is spearheading the agitations by labour unions and sacked employees of various factories in Faridabad, said, “They have even failed to protect the interests of labourers in Faridabad, where factories are laying off old employees one after another.”
