Woman found dead in home in Melbourne's north
A woman's body was discovered by police as they entered a home in Melbourne's northern suburbs on Tuesday night to conduct a welfare check.
The woman was found at the residence in Hawkes Drive, Mill Park, about 9.30pm.
Homicide squad detectives remained at the scene on Wednesday morning trying to determine the circumstances.
"They're still there and they've established a crime scene," Victoria Police spokeswoman Creina O’Grady told radio station 3AW.
"Of course, as always, we're urging anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers (on 1800 333 000)."
