
Kerala Plus Two 12th Result 2020, DHSE Kerala Plus Two (+2) Result 2020 LIVE Updates: The Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala declared the result of plus two (+2) or class 12 board exams today. The board recorded 85.13 passing percentage, which is an improvement as compared to 2019. Among the districts, Ernakulam has emerged as the best performing region.
Over four lakh students who appeared for these exams can check their scores at the official websites, results.itschool.gov.in, cdit.org, prd.kerala.gov.in, results.nic.in, educationkerala.gov.in. Students can also check their results on the official mobile apps – ‘PRD Live’ and ‘Saphalam’.
Unlike most boards, Kerala released the results based on all the exams. Even as Kerala Class 12 exams were put on a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic, the same were conducted again in June. The result was expected by July 10 but then was rescheduled to be released on July 15. It would be worth to see how Kerala fares against boards who have given marks based on the average of highest scores.
In Kerala SSLC result announced earlier this month, the pass percentage was at a five year high.
Students from Kerala have negated the belief that being graded based on exams held during a pandemic may prove a disadvantage in terms of marks. As per the official data, 234 students have secured cent per cent marks in the Kerala HSE exams and18,510 students secured an A-plus in all subjects.
While Ernakulam emerged as the best performing district, recording a passing per cent of 89.02, Kasaragod has the least. A total of 76.68 per cent has cleared the exams from the region.
If we compare streamwise data then 86.62 per cent students have passed from Science, while Humanities and Commerce recorded 77.76 and 84.52 respectievly.
Among the districts, Ernakulam has outranked others, while the passing percentage of the government schools was recorded to be 82.19. As per reports, a total of 234 students have scored cent percent marks.

Earlier last month, the Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala declared the state SSLC or class results and recorded the best passing percentage in the five years. Of the 4.22 lakh students who appeared for the exams, as many as 98.82 per cent cleared the exams successfully. A total of 41,906 students got A+ grade in all subjects, while Kuttanad emerged as the best performing distrct, with no student failing from the region.

Those who will flunk in their HSE, VHSE exams this year, as well as those who wish to improve their score, will have to appear for the improvement exam. If reports are to be believed then the Kerala SSLC students got their certificstes with QR codes. The same is likely to be the case for 12th or +2 results. This is done to ensure no frogery takes place with mark sheets or cergtificates.
While students can take a print out of the marks sheet from the official website it can act as a provisional mark sheet only. The final mark sheet will be issued by the board. In usual circumstances, the mark sheet is released by the respective schools. Since schools are shut, the students might face a delay in getting mark sheets. Many education boards are releasing their original mark sheet, pass certificate, and supporting documents on Digi-locker app. Whether DHSE Kerala will opt this mode is not clear yet.

Students need to score at least 35 per cent marks in each subject as well as in overall to be deemed as pass. In subjects with practical and theory aspects, students need to clear each section separately, as per rules. Last year, 83.75 per cent of students who appeared for the exam cleared it.
To check results on mobile students can download Saphalam app pr PRD LIVe app from their mobile play store or apple store. Students will have to register using the name, roll number, and school details. Once the result is declared, students will be able to get marks memo by entering their roll number.
Over the years, science Science has been ranked as the best stream in Kerala Class 12 or +2 exams. In 2019 too science stream had the best pass percentage with 86.04 per cent of all the students who appeared for the exam in the stream clearing the exam. In commerce, the pass percentage was at 84.65 per cent and humanities at 79.82 per cent. It would be worth to see if science continues to hold up the position
Since Kerala is among the few boards to release the result based on all the exams. It is important to know that pending exam were held amid the coronavirus pandemic. To ensure the safety of students and staff, the DHSE increased the number of centres across the state and sanitised them. Students underwent thermal screening at the entry points. They were not even allowed to exchange pens and other instruments. Rules to ensure exit without students gathering to discuss exam paper were also put into place. Even as Kerala has one of the highest pass percentages among state boards, the competition within the state is also very high. For the top perfroming district post in Kerala results, there is a fight between Wayanad and Kannur. In Kerala plus two results 2019, Wayanad was the top-performing district with a pass percentage of 87.44 percent while in 2018, Kannur gave the best score. In Kerala SSLC 2020, Kuttanad scored cent percent followed by Pathanamthitta district (99.71 per cent). Last year, Pathanamthitta recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.33 per cent.
As per the official website of Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) the students will be given grades on the basis of marks they obtain in the exam. As per the official scheme -

Students will also be able to check results or raise grievances, if any, with their respective school authorities. However, the schools are unlikely to post result lists for public viewing on campuses due to the coronavirus pandemic.
