House fire - Gwynedd

Fire crews were called to a property at Ger Y Llan in Llanllyfni, Caernarfon, at around 7.30pm following a house fire which was caused accidentally.

A candle was knocked over which caused a fire to start in the bedroom of the property.

Two crews from Caernarfon attended the scene and one casualty was given a precautionary check up for smoke inhalation.

Here is what the Met Office have said about the weather today.

A Met Office spokesman said:

Most will see a damp start with outbreaks of rain or drizzle. Staying largely cloudy through the afternoon with some light rain in places, though the chance of some brighter, perhaps sunnier spells too. Cool for the time of year. Maximum temperature 19 °C.”
