NEW DELHI: Auto shares were trading in the green in Wednesday's session.
Shares of TVS Motor Company (up 3.59 per cent) , Hero MotoCorp (up 2.53 per cent) , Mahindra & Mahindra (up 2.3 per cent) , Motherson Sumi Systems (up 1.97 per cent) , Exide Industries (up 1.86 per cent) , Bajaj Auto (up 1.78 per cent) , Bharat Forge (up 1.0 per cent) , Bosch (up 0.97 per cent) , Maruti Suzuki (up 0.92 per cent) and Balkrishna Industries (up 0.36 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty Auto index was trading 1.11 per cent up at 6993.05 around 01:56PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 192.05 points at 10799.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 681.59 points at 36714.65.
