Man arrested after woman found dead in home in Melbourne's north
A man has been arrested after police found a woman's body at a home in Melbourne's northern suburbs on Tuesday night while they we conducting a welfare check.
The woman was found at the residence in Hawkes Drive, Mill Park, about 9.30pm.

A man from Epping, 45, has been arrested and was in hospital under guard on Wednesday morning, police said.
Homicide squad detectives remained at the scene trying to determine the circumstances.
The woman is yet to be formally identified.
"They're still there and they've established a crime scene," Victoria Police spokeswoman Creina O’Grady told radio station 3AW.
