Thane reports 400 fresh Covid-19 cases, total tally rises to 14,419

THANE: As many as 400 fresh Covid positive cases were reported Monday taking the tally in Thane to 14,419 cases while five deaths took the virus toll to 510 till date.
Civic records reveal there are 5,968 active cases in Thane city and the recovery rate is 57% with 7,941 patients recovered till Tuesday and another 55 discharged from the treatment protocol on Wednesday. Nearly 63,808 samples have been sent for testing till date of which 63,592 reports have been received.
The cumulative rate of positive cases in Thane (till Tuesday late) is nearly 22%.
