DAVV releases schedule for non-CET courses
Due to the pandemic, the eligibility of merit will be considered on the basis of aggregate of marks/grades up to their previous year.

INDORE: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has declared the schedule and guidelines for 3164 seats for over 80 non Common Entrance Test (non- CET) courses of the varsity on Tuesday.
Due to the pandemic, the eligibility of merit will be considered on the basis of aggregate of marks/grades up to their previous year.
The students have to apply online from Tuesday onwards and the last date for applying is August 31, said coordinator of non-CET committee of DAVV, Dr Ashok Sharma.
“For students from semester system, the aggregate of marks/grades up to fifth semester for three year programme and up to ninth semester for five year programme will be considered,” he added
The varsity has as many as 1318 seats for 37 post graduate courses, 1011 seats for 20 under graduate programmes, 605 seats for 16 diploma diploma courses and 230 seats for seven certificate courses.
According to the guidelines of DAVV, those candidates whose results will be declared by August 31 which also happens to be the last date for submission of the application, their final semester/year result will be considered for the merit purpose.
Such candidates will have to submit the mark-sheet in the concerned department latest September 4. If an applicant wishes to be considered for more than one programme, they must apply in separate application form for each programme.
This year the varsity will not accept any change of category after submission of the form. “The candidate who fails to indicate the appropriate reservation category in the respective column of the application form will not have any claim for the reservation later,” DAVV spokesperson Dr Chandan Gupta said.
The information provided by the applicant in the application form will be verified at the time of counselling / admission from the original documents by the authorities of DAVV, he added.
Any legal dispute regarding Admission-2020 will be subject to Indore jurisdiction. No written communication will be provided. Applicants are advised to see the university website.
