
J-K BJP chief Ravinder Raina tests COVID-19 positive
BJP's Jammu and Kashmir chief Ravinder Raina has tested positive for coronavirus. Raina had met many people during the funeral of BJP leader Waseem Bari in Bandipore was a part of the BJP team led by MoS PMO Jitendra Singh and Ram Madhav. Meanwhile, contact tracing has begun.
Singh has gone into self-quarantine as he had come in contact with Raina.
Have gone into Self-Quarantine with immediate effect from 4 PM today, after receiving the news about #Corona positive test of J&K BJP President Sh Ravinder Raina who had accompanied us from Srinagar to Bandipora on 12th July.

Raina is being referred to Narayana hospital situated in the Katra belt of Reasi district for treatment. He had undergone COVID-19 test on Monday which came positive.
At Bandipora, Raina had led the funeral procession along with party's general secretary (Organisation) Ashok Kaul on July 11. Raina said he along with other leaders had visited the area despite the threat given by terrorists not to take party in the funeral procession.
"I left for Bandipora soon after hearing the bad news. I was there for five days," Raina said.
