Rajasthan government is likely to withdraw the Z-class security from Sachin Pilot, which was given him as the deputy chief minister. However, the final decision will be taken by a committee constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

Cabinet Meet at 7.30 pm | State cabinet meeting to be held at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's residence at 7:30 pm and meeting of Council of Ministers at 8:00 pm today.

According to sources, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot hands over a list of 104 MLAs to Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra and claims majority in Assembly.

Some of the MLAs belonging to the Pilot camp have demanded a floor test in the state assembly to know the number of legislators backing Gehlot. The Gehlot camp has been saying that they enjoyed the support of 109 MLAs, a claim contested by the Pilot loyalists.

Congress MLAs Narendra Budania, Shakuntala Rawat, Mahendrajeet Malviya and Parasram Moradia are also in race to get ministerial berths in Rajasthan.

2 to 3 MLAs who switched from BSP to Congress -- Ramkesh Meena, Joginder Awana, Rajendra -- are believed to be in the race to get ministerial berths. Independent MLAs Saiyam Lodha Mahadev Singh Khandela also expected to be inducted in Gehlot's Cabinet.

Preparations On for Cabinet Reshuffle | According to sources, preparations are on for a major reshuffle in the Rajasthan Cabinet, where 8 vacancies have been created. It is likely that the Congress government will appoint two deputy chief ministers. Mahesh Joshi is being named as one of the potential candidates. 

Another BJP vice president Baijayant Jay Panda, who is also a party spokesperson, set tongues wagging with his tweet, "In aviation, every flight plan includes an alternate airport or airstrip to divert to in the event of technical problems or severe bad weather. Every experienced pilot knows this."

BJP vice president Om Prakash Mathur says, "Dear Ashok Gehlot, closing your eyes does not make the sun disappear. There is weakness in the structure of your house, and you are blaming the BJP national leadership for this."

ADG (Law and Order) Saurabh Srivastava said following intelligence inputs and political happenings, police force across the state has been alerted to maintain law and order.

Former Assam CM Tarun Gogoi says, "My advise to Sachin Pilot to be patient, not to be emotional. Having bright future your turn will come. I also had similar hurdles but ultimately patience helped. BJP Will Demand Floor Test | “We want floor test …Everything will be clear,” BJP leader Gulab Chandra Kataria said. Kataria said that the Congress government does not have the majority and it can only be proved in the house.

The Sequence of Events Leading to Pilot’s Expulsion: 

-Priyanka Gandhi and KC Venugopal called Sachin Pilot. Pilot said he cannot work under CM Gehlot.

-Priyanka Gandhi again called Pilot even as MLAs demanded his ouster and that of his MLas.

-This second call was when Pilot said he wants to be made the chief minister.

- Then, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were called and then they told party leaders to sack him.

- Party high command had told Pilot to wait for a year or six months but he wanted to be made CM now.

Pilot's Nameplate Removed from Congress Headquarters | Sachin Pilot's nameplate has been removed from Congress headquarter in Jaipur after he was sacked as deputy chief minister and PCC chief. Govind Singh Dotasra has been appointed as state unit chief.

Mukesh Bhakar, who has been sacked as IYC state president and has been replaced by Ganesh Ghogra, attacked CM Gehlot over his removal. “I have become the state president of Youth Congress after winning the election. Who is Ashok Gehlot to remove me? Ashok Gehlot and his minister-MLA were already involved in defeating the son of a farmer-soldier,”  Bhakar tweeted in Hindi.
