
Karnataka PUC 2nd Year Results 2020 LIVE Updates: The results of Karnataka Pre-University Education (PUE) or PU-II class 12 exams declared on Tuesday, July 14. A total of 5.95 lakh students who had appeared in the class 12 exams can check their results through the website- karresults.nic.in.
Like other boards, the PUC II exam was also affected due to COVID-19 pandemic. The only remaining paper (English) which was originally scheduled to be held on Mach 23, was conducted on June 18.

Last year, the overall passing percentage was recorded at 61.73 per cent. Among streams, science students had recorded 66.58 passing percentage, commerce had 66.39 and arts had 50.53. Udupi had emerged as the best performing district in the previous term.

The department conducted the exam at various centres across the state and proper social distancing guidelines were maintained. According to Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar, 95.46 per cent of the total registered students (5.95 lakh II PU students) appeared for the English paper conducted on June 18
Those who clear the exam can register at the official website, pue.kar.nic.in for admission to graduate courses.
The next session for these students is expected to begin by August while fresh admissions and sessions will begin from September. Earlier, these sessions start by July.
Students need to secure 35 per cent marks to clear the PUC exam. Candidates will need to score a minimum of 70 marks in the language papers and 30 marks each in individual subjects for a total of 210 out of 600 marks to be declared pass.
