NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading lower in Tuesday's session.
Shares of Mindtree (down 2.88 per cent) , NIIT Technologies (down 1.98 per cent) , HCL Technologies (down 1.89 per cent) , Tata Consultancy (down 1.61 per cent) , Infosys (down 1.2 per cent) , Tech Mahindra (down 0.85 per cent) and Wipro (down 0.7 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty IT index was trading 0.92 per cent down at 15673.7 around 02:30PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 197.60 points at 10605.1, while the BSE Sensex was down 669.77 points at 36023.92.
