Taking a dig at Congress, Union Minister and BJP MP from Jodhpur Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has said that anyone is welcome to join the BJP. He was speaking on the speculation over Sachin Pilot joining BJP.

"So many people joined BJP after its establishment, making it the world's largest party. If anyone, who believes in our ideology, wants to join the party, we will definitely welcome them with open arms," said Shekhawat.

The Congress on Tuesday cracked the whip on dissident leader Sachin Pilot, stripping him of the posts of Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister and the party's state unit president for revolting against CM Ashok Gehlot. Two other Rajasthan ministers Vishvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena were also sacked from the state cabinet after a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party, its second in the last two days.

Shekhawat further said that Gehlot has been trying to implement his strategy for the past six months.
"For a long time, a film has been playing out in Rajasthan whose producer, director, and hero is just one person, that is Ashok Gehlot. These days there is a trend in Bollywood where propaganda is created to make an unsuccessful film successful," said the Union Minister.

He added that people of Rajasthan will pay for Congress' deeds.

"Rajasthan government is a government of minority votes and they will do anything to remain in power. However, people of Rajasthan will have to pay for it," he said.

He further said that Congress should not blame BJP for their in-fighting.

"Gehlot government's plan to attack the BJP was uncalled for. Accusing the BJP for their in-fighting is not right," he said.
