'Most people in Telangana don't have symptoms of Covid- 19'

HYDERABAD: Telangana health department director Dr Srinivas Rao on Wednesday announced that 80 per cent of the people in the state do not have symptoms of Covid- 19.
Addressing a press conference, he said that 9,786 people are under home isolation for Covid- 19 treatment. He said at present only 54 private hospitals are providing coronavirus treatment as against 98 hospitals having permission to treat the infected patients. Soon, private medical colleges will offer Covid- 19 treatment free of cost, he said.
There are 10 private medical colleges around Hyderabad and a total of 21 medical colleges in the state.
