Two-hour wait
The results were announced online on cbseresults.nic.in around 1pm. But soon thereafter, the website crashed due to heavy load. The error was rectified and the website started working on mobile around 3pm. Rishav Kumar, a student of New GMT School, Jalandhar Bypass, said, “I was eager to know my result and I tried repeatedly. I thought my internet was not working, but when I called my friends, even they had the same story to tell. The site was not responding on the desktop.”
CBSE tweeted, “As informed by NIC there is a technical issue in accessing CBSE results. The same is likely to resume in two hours. However, complete results have been sent to all schools and students can obtain their results from schools. The results are also being pushed through Digilocker.”
Board sheet
This year, the board will not release the merit list as a few remaining exams were cancelled due to the pandemic. Therefore, no toppers will be announced.
Candidates will get their marksheets, passing and migration certificates, skill certificates and other documents on DigiLocker. They can download the Digilocker app from Google Playstore.
The CBSE did away with the term ‘Fail’ in the marksheets and replaced it with ‘Essential Repeat’
