Hardik Patel is being shared across social media platforms. The tweet has Patel saying that come next state elections in
Gujarat, Congress will form the government with 1/3rd majority vote.
A loose translation of the tweet dated July 12 2020 reads, “I am indebted to
Sonia and
Rahul Gandhi. Congress party will continue its fight to save democracy and constitution in the country. All issues pertaining to Gujarat will be addressed. And Congress will storm back into power with 1/3rd majority vote in the 2022 assembly elections.”
Screengrab of this tweet started doing the rounds after Patel was
appointed as working president of the Congress’ Gujarat state unit recently.

TRUTHThe screengrab is real. Hardik Patel did tweet about Congress winning Gujarat elections with 1/3rd majority. After he was trolled, he deleted the tweet.

Twitter trolls Hardik Patel for saying 'will form govt with 1/3 majority'’, the report mentions how Patel was trolled post his blooper.
Patel then deleted the tweet and put out a fresh tweet, replacing 1/3rd with 2/3rd.
