2nd PUC Results 2020 Karnataka declared on karresults.nic.in; here's direct link

Karnataka II PU results are now available on karresults.nic.in. The press conference for declaration of results of II PU exams started at 11.30am on Tuesday, July 14. The 2nd PUC results will also be sent to students via SMS and the same is also available on www.karresults.nic.in.
Pass percentage of 2nd PUC this year recorded at 61.80%, an increase of 0.7% from last year. In 2019, 61.73 per cent students were declared successful.
The Karnataka PUC exams began on March 4 but had to be discontinued after March 21 with only one paper remaining as the country went into lockdown. The last test was held on June 18, amid virus fears. Over 6.7 lakh students had appeared for the exams.

The I PU supplementary exams scheduled from July 16-27 stand cancelled. Around 60,000 students were supposed to take them. Those who do not have attendance shortage will be deemed pass and automatically admitted to II PU. If any student is unable to take the exam owing to ill-health or other valid reasons, she/he will be given another chance before the commencement of mid-term of II PU classes.
Those who failed the I PU exam will be awarded minimum marks required to pass in those subjects and promoted to second year. If a student was absent (except for those with attendance shortage), he/she will be given a chance to reappear before the first exam in II PU.
TV classes for high school will start on July 20 on DD Chandana. First language (Kannada, English, Sanskrit and Urdu), second language English, third language Hindi and Kannada, maths, science and social sciences will be aired.
After 20 days of revision classes, students of classes 8-10 will be taught daily in Kannada and English medium. Classes will be available on YouTube.
