Karnataka: Total lockdown in Dharwad and Dakshina Kannada

BENGALURU: Dharwad and Dakshina Kannada districts have decided to go for complete lockdown while Raichur, Shivamogga and Kalaburagi have opted for a partial one. While DK will be under lockdown for a week from July 16, Dharwad will be for 10 days — from 10am on July 15 to 8pm on July 24. Kalaburagi, Shivamogga and Raichur districts have decided to go for partial lockdown.
The district administrations took a decision after Yediyurappa’s video conference with deputy commissioners and superintendents of police of 19 districts.
Mysuru and a few other districts which are seeing a spike in positive cases have decided to impose lockdown in selected areas. In Kodagu, the district administration has imposed curfew from 6pm to 6am from July 15 to 31.
